Life in Miami, aka #MiamiLife, is like none other filled with new adventures, great places to explore and people from all over the world.
I love this city as every week brings new experiences, whether it’s by meeting new and exciting people or by visiting a trendy spot there’s always something fun going on.
I started off the weekend by visiting a restaurant I had never tried before, the newly opened Lure restaurant at Loews Hotel on Miami Beach.
I’m a big ‘foodie’ and love trying different restaurants. Needless to say, Lure had tasty food coupled with excellent service and expansive high ceilings with an open Oyster Bar and interesting decor. My favorite dishes were: The South Beach Sushi Roll, Lobster Spring Rolls, Asian BBQ chicken lollipops (yummm), and the Surf and Turf entree which consists of Filet Mignon, grilled lobster tail and potato gratin, one of the best potato gratins I’ve ever had. Last but not least we tried a little bit of everything from the dessert menu, my favorite was definitely the key lime pie and normally I’m not a key lime pie kind of gal.
After filling our bellies with great food we headed over to Michael Saylor’s costume party at his mansion called Villa Vecchia.
From there we concluded the night at the SLS Hyde Beach to enjoy some more cocktails. Overall it was a great Friday night.
As far as the rest of the weekend, I ended up trying a new sushi place in midtown called iSushi which was a great place to enjoy lunch.
I then visited the wynwood design district and explored its many murals and art galleries. It was quite the fun filled day.
Hope you also had a great weekend! Lots of love.
