This weekend was filled with adventures that mostly revolved around day activities rather than the usual night time affairs.
Saturday I started the day by going to a BBQ on Miami Beach. After staying to mingle for a bit, we changed the scenery and went to soak in some rays by the pool at a friend’s mansion in Palm Island.
We relaxed by the pool, sipped some champagne and then headed to the Jacuzzi at sun down.
After a fun filled day we decided to dine at the new Italian restaurant, Cipriani in Brickell.
My expectations were not let down as the restaurant had beautiful decor and was buzzing with people. Despite the fact that it was fully booked we still received impeccable service, as the waiters were quick to serve you and the food arrived in a timely manner.
The food was good, but nothing over the top, and my favorite dish I had in Monte Carlo was missing. Nevertheless, we had a great time and the dessert was certainly one of my favorites, the deliciously fluffy vanilla meringue.
Sunday funday was also an adventure as we started the day by meeting up with friends and drinking some mojitos at the Fontainebleau hotel pool.
We then walked over and met other friends at the Soho Beach House.
After all the fun we were starving and so we decided to go to La Piaggia, the perfect place to go on a late Sunday afternoon. This restaurant is always packed on Sundays and has a fun vibe with good music. My favorite dish was definitely the tuna tartare, delicious!
Overall it was quite the fun weekend with beautiful weather and great friends. But hey when is Miami not fun? 😉
Have a great week! Lots of love. 🙂
